Lisa and Lynn founded The Baby Lawyers in 2019 to protect growing families throughout one of the most important and exciting journeys of their lives. Specializing exclusively in assisted reproductive technology law, Lisa and Lynn utilize their decades of experience to ensure their clients’ families are built on strong legal foundations. The Baby Lawyers is committed to providing its clients with the highest caliber legal services, reasonable pricing and unparalleled responsiveness.
Who We Are
Lisa R. Brant, Esq.
Founder & Partner
Based in San Diego, California, Lisa runs the West Coast office of The Baby Lawyers. Before co-founding The Baby Lawyers in 2019, Lisa was a civil litigator serving as a partner at several prestigious law firms in Los Angeles and then running her own law firm. Lisa was thrilled to leave behind litigation for the collaborative and joyous world of assisted reproductive technology family formation. Lisa graduated magna cum laude from UCLA in 1991 and from UCLA Law in 1994 and is licensed in California and Michigan.
Lynn R. Levitan, Esq.
Founder & Partner
Lynn runs the East Coast office of The Baby Lawyers and is based in Washington, D.C. Since 2019, assisted reproductive technology law has become Lynn’s passion after practicing complex litigation at several international law firms in Los Angeles and serving as Apple Inc.’s Global Product Safety/Environmental Counsel. Lynn graduated from University of Baltimore School of Law in 1993 and is licensed to practice law in California, Maryland, District of Columbia, New York, Virginia, and Texas.
Brooke M. Hasegawa-Nakaoka, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Before joining The Baby Lawyers, Brooke had already established herself in the assisted reproductive technology law arena and uses her expertise to provide exceptional legal services. Brooke earned her J.D. from Syracuse College of Law, a Masters of Studies in Law from USC Gould School of Law, and also holds an M.B.A. from University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business. Brooke is licensed to practice law in California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, District of Columbia and Hawaii.
